Page 99 Test:: Blood and Violets

I got this from Madison Woods blog . It's based on the theory that if you open your book to page 99 then you get a good indication from that page of whether or not the book will be any good. So here we go! Blood and Violets - Page 99 “God, no!” She’d never wanted kids. Maybe it would have been different if she’d had parents looking after her for her whole life, but she couldn’t do it. Kids needed emotional support and a stable life. Of course, I want kids. All women want kids. Cute, little babies with squishy faces!” “Now you’re lying.” He actually had the nerve to laugh at her. “Damn it, why do I have to be so inept at reading people. Woot!

Finished the changes to Blood and Violets. I have it in an email and everything is properly formatted. Now I just have to screw my courage to the sticking place and click Send! LOL I changed one of the characters names from Eric to Rune. When I wrote it, I hadn't read the Sookie novels or seen True Blood. Considering they are both blond vikings, I figured they couldn't share the same name. Actually Eric/Rune's name was originally Finn, but I stole that name for use in my real life. hehehe If we have a boy next time I'm stealing another character's name. hehe Anyone have a good alternative name for a Spanish vampire born in the 8th century previously named Beltran? LOL

It not only delves into the romance of Marie and Alexander, but chronicles the birth of a group of dark magicians in an internet chat room called Carpe Sanguis who are out to - yes, that's right- "seize the blood" of vampires for their rituals, and their target is Alexander. Alexander is a vampire who wants to make Marie his protégé. Marie is a snarky Southern girl, who just wants him to let her go home and get back to her normal life. When things heat up between the two of them, it becomes obvious t...
