13 Kinds of Candy I Shouldn't Have Eaten so Much Of Over Halloween

  1. York Peppermint Batties
They were soooo cute! Peppermint Patties shaped like bats. Nicky kept asking for them by shouting "BAT" and then doing his impression of the Count from Sesame Street.
  2. Reeses' Pumpkins
Peanut Butter Cups shaped like pumpkins.
  3. Hershey's Ghosts
What can I say they were in the bag with the Batties and Pumpkins
  4. Mounds
  5. Almond Joys
I had mad cravings for these when I was pregnant with the munchkin. Almost as mad as for mashed potatoes.
  6. Tootsie Rolls
At least these are fat free. We won't talk about carbs, but they are fat free!
  7. Tootsie Pops
Okay I only had two, and both of them had the little boy dressed as a Native American shooting his arrow at the star! Did y'all always say those wrappers were good luck or were we just wierd?
  8. Double Bubble Gum
I love this stuff. The flavor lasts all of ten seconds but while it's there...man oh man!
  9. Cadbury Roasted Almond Bars
Okay, this had nothing to do with Halloween, they just always seem to find their way into my basket at Walmart!
  10. Popcorn Balls!
Oh I love these things! At least they only have 100 calories and are an excellent source of whole grain!
  11. Dots
I only ate one mini box of those. They are so sticky and sweet they almost make my teeth hurt!
  12. Razzles!
I had to eat some of these cause I'd never heard of them until 13 Going on 30. I loved that movie!
  13. Ummm.....I can't think of anymore! I'm sure there were others at some point! So let's go with something I'd like to eat if I could find some of...Pop Rocks!
We used to sit at the ballpark watching our big brothers and sisters play and dissolve pop rocks in drinks and dare each other to drink them. Good times, man! Good times! hehehehe

We only took the girls to a zoo trick-or-treating that had a no-peanut policy. So that means no chocolate. All fruit candies. Boo! But my best friend's son is allergic, so I guess I can't complain too loudly!

Teen girls stayed home. Youngest went with friends, first year in 17 we weren't out knocking on doors.

And yes, the leftover Almond Joys *are* eyeing me this morning.

I'm still laughing about your co-workers, the smarty pants. That's too good!

I hid all our leftover candy (I've yet to see Peppermint Patties shaped like bats. Cool!) this morning because my dad's coming for lunch and if he sees the candy, he eats it. He even knows where I usually hide it, too!

They had Peppermint Patties shaped as bats? Cool!

I love Twix. My daughter got ONE--but at least it was a regular size and not those bite size things. :)

Peppermint Batties, Reese's Pumpkins and Hershey's Ghosts - man, I wish they'd made their way north of the border! I hear ya on the Almond Joy - I'm a chocolate-cocnut freak, myself.

Somehow, all five of the Butterfinger minis have now disappeared...into my tummy...'cause I know kidlet doesn't like them...I got obsessive and split her "haul" into two bowls: chocolate and non-chocolate. Less sorting during cravings LOL.

All that candy in one night?

Oh Hershey... Hehehe! There's no such thing as having too much of it.
