Well, I guess that just says it all...

I had a box of fortune cookies up in the cabinet, and I said to myself, "This fortune cookie is going to tell me how the rest of my day will go."

I started pulling plastic wrapper and it wouldn't come loose so I pulled a little harder. It split open all at once and shot the fortune cookie up into the air. It went crashing to the ground and shattered. It was then gobbled up quite quickly by my very happy dogs.

Ummm hmmm...Fine!

Yep, there are days like that! Like when you drop the bath mat into the toilet, then when you get in the shower the stupid shampoo bottle divebombs you from its perch on the railing, you drop the soap no fewer than five times, then cut yourself shaving...

Oh that's funny, Lesley! I love making an ooh-let's-find-out-what-will-happen-in-my-life ritual when the fortune cookies arrive at the end of a meal in a restaurant. I gasp if my husband reaches for my cookie instead of his. LOL Silly and fun.

Julia: Clearly...and now I don't even remember what it was. Maybe something about fortune coming their way. I think that could be clearly interpreted as the cookie falling from the sky. LOL Weird my sidebar has done that before too!

13 Things I would Happily Take as Birthday Presents My Birthday is September 20th, but I'll be gone to Denmark. Holy cow, I'll be gone before next week's Thursday 13, so I doubt very seriously since I'll be in a plane all night that I'll be blogging. That means I'm going to be MIA for about two Thursday 13's! Aww, I'll miss you guys! Wish me luck, 8 hours in a plane with a two year old, *shudders* I and the other passengers are going to need it! So here we go! 13 Things that Unless You’re One of My Girlfriends or my Husband You Probably Don’t Know About Me 1. I like costumes! A LOT! I would even go so far as to say I absolutely freakin’ adore costumes.
