Coming Out of the Pantry

So as you know I've been working on the whole getting myself into shape thing for some time, but it's only been mentioned very vaguely here. I've decided to come out of the pantry about it, so to speak. I'll do weekly weigh in's and stuff. The whole reason that I didn't mention it here was because I was just ashamed of how much I weigh. Well it doesn't really matter how much I weigh exactly since you can look at me and tell I'm fat...I mean duh! LOL

So there is now a weight ticker at the bottom and link on the side there to my spark page. If you do SparkPeople please be my friend. I have no friends. :'( hehehe Well I have lots of friends. They just don't use SparkPeople so that I have friends on there. hehe So if anyone does then please be my friend. :D

I had gained back some weight because I was a lazy bum this summer, but I'm ready to kick it all. I need to lose 89 pounds from where I am now to be at what I think would be my ideal weight. Now I may change my mind about what my ideal weight is as I go along. We'll see, but I know I'm not there yet, and I need to get there.

I started the Couch to 5K again. I kept failing at 6mph so I've started back at 5mph. After that I'll do it again and 6mph or higher. I feel so much better after I run. It's really amazing the difference it makes. Not really in my physical body (because it's sorrrreee) but in my self confidence.

So here I go! I'm gonna do it! It's way past time!

Coming out of the Pantry - LOL! That is a perfect new expression. I'm not the sveltest chick on the block, either - c'est la vie.

But I'm glad you're working on a leaner you. I think you may be inspiring me as we speak.

Julia, I don't think I'll ever be svelt. ;) I'm working toward EVERYTHING not bouncing when I run ;) You can do it too!!! I recommend with starting with working out. The accomplishment that I feel when I am done running improves my day and makes everything else easier.

You attack it woman! You can do what you set your mind to. I try to always remember that you have to live like you are already the person you want to be. So it's about living the live style that gets you to your happy weight and not quitting. You have my resounding cheer of support.
